Athletics Success

On Wednesday 17th May, 40 pupils from years 8-10 represented the school in the district athletics events. The junior boys' team were fantastic, finishing in 3rd place and the junior girls' team placed joint 4th. There were some individual success stories too. In Year 10, Tinotenda finished 2nd in the high jump; Vitali finished 3rd in the long jump and 3rd in the 200m; Jeeh finished 3rd in the triple jump and 3rd in the the hurdles; and Max finished 3rd in the 400m.

In the year 8 and 9 events, Marcel placed 1st in the discus; Jay finished 2nd in the high jump; Mark finished 3rd in the 800m; Harvie placed 2nd in the 200m; Kacper finished 3rd in the 100m; Blaise 3rd in shot put; Heidi won the girls' high jump competition and Chloe won the 300m competition.
