U13's Girls City Football Success

Well done to the Year 8 girls who reached the final of the U13 Girls City tournament last night at the Sheepmount. The final is to be played next year at Brunton Park which will be an amazing day out for the girls! They topped their group with two convincing 1-0 victories against William Howard and RRMA with goals coming from Chloe B and Ellie to reach the semi final. The girls played excellently in the semi final against Caldew, with a 1-1 result after full time going in to penalties. With 3 excellent saves from Jorja and 3 goals from Chloe B, Chloe W and Charley the girls took their third win of the day leading them to the final! The team did themselves and the school proud with a set of brilliant performances. Well done girls! Miss Kenny.
