LRC Update

It has been a busy year in the LRC! 

To end the school year we have had a virtual author visit from Robert Muchamore, a very popular author of novels for young people. Here are a few pictures of the event. All students have taken away the first book to read over the summer.

Spellbinding Book Club 2021 was a huge success within school this year. A massive thank you from Mrs Jones to all the Spellbinders who have taken part in this year's 10 novel challenge.

As part of the celebrations, we entered the county competition 'Book in a Jar' , Kelsey Y8 stole 3rd place.

Also, a big thank you to all the students who entered the Spellbinding Book in the jar competition. We have been amazed by the creativity, interpretation, talent, and skill that went into them.

All received a book voucher, certificate, and the Spellbinding star badge award for participation in this year's awards.

Oliver Y7 – Received an award for reading all 10 books in a matter of weeks, truly outstanding reading! Closely followed by Alexa  Y7.
