Year 7 - City Schools Cross Country Event at Austin Friars School

On Friday a group of pupils from Year 7 took part in the City Schools Cross Country Event at Austin Friars School. Our group of girls raced first on what was a 1.5 mile route and all showed high levels of cardio vascular endurance, determination, and resilience to complete the race. Our group of boys then raced on the same course and worked equally as hard, showing the same levels of determination. Special mentions go out to Ethan, Daniel, and Archie who came 6th, 7th and 12th respectively meaning they will go on to represent the Carlisle district at the Cumbria Schools County event which will take place in Fitz Park, Keswick in January.
