GCSE Pod

We are delighted to announce that St John Henry Newman Catholic School has once again invested in GCSEPod, the award-winning digital content and revision provider used by over 1,700 schools worldwide.

GCSEPod is a digital learning platform designed to help students excel in their GCSEs by providing high-quality, subject-specific resources. It offers a vast library of short, focused videos known as "Pods," which cover every topic across a wide range of GCSE subjects. These Pods are concise, engaging, and aligned with exam specifications, making them an effective tool for both revision and independent study. With 24/7 access, students can learn at their own pace, track their progress, and test their knowledge through quizzes and assignments. GCSEPod helps reinforce classroom learning and boosts confidence, supporting students in achieving their academic potential.

The GCSEPod website can be viewed on mobiles, tablets and PCs and the Pods can be downloaded for offline viewing.  The Pods are mapped to the curriculum and students can access pre-set exam playlists which collate all the Pods relevant to a specific exam into a neatly organised list.  Once students have activated their account they can browse the Pod library and create their own playlists – just as they would when they are listening to music.
