As part of a new curriculum competition, Mrs Graham in the English Department asked her English classes to write an Oath entry for the Cumbria School Games competition and we are delighted to announce that Evie Davidson, Year 8 has been announced as a winner. In our last school week we are learning about goodness and patience, two fruits of the Holy Spirit, through the fun example of Batman. We will see that both of these fruits should inform the way that we act, and the importance of being patient with those around us and to do good acts for them.
Congratulations to the KS3 students who have won the first round of the English department Spelling Bee 2019. In the next round the students will have a 'spell off' with the other winners from their year group. If they are successful, they will go through to the final round.
