Next year we will be offering Year 8 and 9 students the opportunity to attend a retreat at Castlerigg Manor from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July 2020. There will also be places available for young leaders from Years 10,11 and sixth form. A copy of the letter can be found on the letters page. Thank you.

Newman Catholic School have been invited to send a group of student delegates to the annual Commonwealth Service in Westminster Abbey, London, on Monday 11 March 2019.

The Rotary Club of Carlisle presents its annual "Youth Speaks" Competition on Wednesday 17 October 2018. Good luck to our team from Year 9 who are representing the school at the Shepherds Inn.
Pilgrim Photography will be in school on Monday15th October to take individual student photographs for the students who were absent last week.
Mass will be celebrated by Father Michael Docherty on Thursday 1 November 2018 at 11:45 at Christ the King. All students will be invited to attend.
The aim of the day will be to help students to think about how their GCSE and A level or equivalent qualifications can shape their future plans. Students will take part in several activiites, including subject taster sessions, which will allow them to find out what it's like to study at university.
