Maddie Wildridge, Alex Cairns, Molly Hagan & Lauren Wightman represented Newman School in the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust team challenge which was held at Caldew School on 22 March 2018 and they came an impressive 4th place out of 10 teams.

Thursday 1st March is World Book Day. Book tokens will be available from Mrs Jones in the LRC and Mrs Tickell will be doing assemblies all week.
This week during assemblies the students have been learning about the charity Mary's Meals and have been set a challenge to find ways to fundraise for this worthwhile cause as a form group or year group.
We are delighted to announce that Courtney White, Year 13 has gained a scholarship to study at New York University (Tisch School of the Arts) to study film and television.
