The Year 9 Online Parents' Evening will be taking place via our online platform `SchoolCloud' on Tuesday 3 December 2024 from 4.30 pm - 7.00pm.

On Tuesday 26 November a group of Year 8 Pupils will be visiting the Theatre by the Lake to watch an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's the Jungle Book.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening is being held in school on Tuesday 12 November 2024 from 4.30 pm - 7.00 pm. 

The half term holiday is from Monday 28 October - Friday 1 November 2024.  All pupils will return to school on Monday 4 November at 8.50 am.

On Thursday 24 October a group of Year 9 and 10 pupils will be visiting the British Music Experience in Liverpool.

 The Year 11 GCSE Geography Field Trips to Silloth are taking place on Monday  21 and Tuesday 22 October 2024.

On Thursday 17 October we are holding a Whole School Careers Fair where a number of local employers will be attending and pupils will visit the Fair throughout the School day. 

As part of the English GCSE curriculum, pupils study Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.  A  group of Year 10 pupils are attending the Theatre by the Lake on Thursday 17 October to watch the theatre production.

The Year 13 Parents' Evening is taking place in school on Tuesday 15 October 2024 from 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm.  Appointments can be made via SchoolCloud.

The School Immunisation Team will be in school on Friday 27 September 2024 to deliver the flu vaccination to all pupils who have consent.  If you would like your child have the vaccination please complete the consent form that was emailed out to parents/carers or you can telephone 01228 608046 and give verbal consent.

The Year 10 Expectations Evening is taking place in school on Thursday 26 September 2024. Parents/Carers can sign in from 5.15 pm via the side pupil entrance and the presentation will start at 5.30 pm.

School will be open from 9.00 am - 11.00 am for Year 11 pupils to collect their GCSE results.  Pupils should use the side entrance/exit.  Staff will be on hand to offer guidance on next steps.

The end of the summer term is Friday 19 July 2024.  Pupils will leave after registration at 1.00 pm.   All pupils will return to school on Wednesday 4 September at 8.50 am when Autumn term begins.

A selection of pupils will be attending the end of year enrichment day to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Monday 15 Blackpool. Pupils should arrive in school at 7.45 am to be registered for an 8.00 am departure. 

A group of Year 9 pupils will be visiting the University of Cumbria to take part in a partners day organised by Hello Future.

On Friday 7 June there will be a Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, where our two new statues will be blessed. It will be a joint Mass with the Knights of St. Columba Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
