National Youth Theatre

One of our ex students is an Associate Artist of the National Youth Theatre . He is leading on local auditions for the National Youth Theatre this summer. There is a cost involved but there is a bursary available to cover expenses.

Aged 14-25 and love to perform? The National Youth Theatre want to meet you!
Between January and March 2019, the National Youth Theatre are holding acting auditions and backstage interviews at over 70 venues across the UK.
On Wednesday 20th and Saturday 23rd February National Youth Theatre auditions are at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.

What happens on the day?
Take part in a 3 hour workshop led by National Youth Theatre Associates. In the afternoon perform a 3 minute monologue from a published play.

What next?
If successful, applicants will be invited to a 2-4 week course in the summer holidays. Once completing the course, you'll become a National Youth Theatre member and have access to more training, development and casting opportunities until you turn 26.
