We ended the year on a high note with our SJHN Book Club attending the Spellbinding Book Awards, Cumbria's Book Award for secondary school pupils. This event engages hundreds of pupils to read through ten shortlisted titles and vote for their favourite. The shortlist, created in collaboration with pupils and librarians from local schools, showcases the best in young adult literature.
