On Wednesday 31 October a selection of pupils from Year 9 and Year 10 will be attending workshops run by The Wordsworth Trust.
The aim of the workshops is to build on pupils' knowledge of the Gothic Genre.
Pupils will investigate the context, the when, where, who (or what) and why of Gothic fiction using their existing knowledge of, and familiarity with, the genre as the starting point for discussion.
The session will also include a creative writing element during which students will use the raw materials of Gothic to create the opening for their own terrifying tale.
