Year 7 Cell Competition

We had over 40 entries with cells made of all kinds of recyclable materials, including; knitting, crotchet, baking and lots and lots of crafting. There was so much talent!  The two winners cells not only identified the cell structures but also explained their function, well done to Oliwia and Ethan. Special mention to four other pupils, Laila, Kayden, Mayzee and John - the science teachers selected these as some examples of excellent cells.

Prizes for the winners were presented in assembly and all pupils who entered the competition will receive an achievement point. Look out for details of the next science competition over February halt term - build a model Earth!  Post-cards home for October, Pupil of the month nominees for 'Participation in lessons' are ready for delivery – will it be you?
