Year 7 and 8 District Athletics Event

Well done to all the pupils in Years 7 and 8 who took part in the district athletics event yesterday, many of whom were participating in their first athletics competition.  At school level we finished 6th in both the Year 7 and Year 8 competitions but special mention for our Year 8 boys team whose results saw them finish 3rd of the 7 schools.

Zulum Uchenome – 2nd in Javelin (17m 24)

Jamie Josi – 2nd in High Jump (1m15)

Year 8 Boys

Jamie Graham – 1st in 800m (2mins 27s)

Toby Nugent – 2nd in Shot (8m53)

Lewis Gibson – 3rd in 100m (13.6s)

Taylor Johnston – 3rd in Javelin (21m43)

Ryan Piercey – 3rd in Triple Jump (7m25)
